Two weeks ago, Jim recommended Sky works and then last week, he denounced it.
Last week he recommended Symbol and I bought it at 11.50 and last night he said "no way would he recommend Symbol". I sold it for 9.50. |

He regretfully admitted he made a mistake on Symbol. It's hard for even experts to know exactly what the market is going to do, and I certainly do not fall in that category, so I took Cramer's advice and buy shares in small increments, that way I don't get too many at too high a price and if it should happen to be a loser, I don't lose much. That works in reverse and if the stock soars, I'm not making much, either, but it reduces risk.
With Skyworks, their time is yet to come, supposedly... What is up today? RIG |

Cramer is always looking at the latest market conditions. So yeah, he will at times reverse positions on a stock on short notice. A few years ago, I bought Best Buy (BBY) after he said good things about it. Then a week or too later he was negative about it. BBY languashed for awhile, but about a year later, it doubled, and I made money.
Anyway, don't just buy only because Cramer is saying good things. You should be comfortable with the company. |
