Default Weekly Stock Challenge 2/2/2007 - Win Free Trading Book

Stock Picking Challenge

Pick the highest percentage mover and win a free hardcover copy of Conquer the Crash!

Pick any stock that trades in the US market that closed at $2.00 or over with at least 100,000 share volume as of the Friday close before the contest starts on Monday.

Your entry price will be the market open price on Monday morning.

A brief rationale for your pick makes the contest more fun.

IMPORTANT:

Because of the difficulty in reaching the site on Sunday the contest this week will begin on TUESDAY instead of MONDAY - you have until Tuesday morning at 9:30 to post your picks!

(Picks for this week copied over from the end of last week's thread)

MoMoney4Me
I'd like to pick ANAD long for the week of Feb. 2
This weeks pullback presents a prime opportunity to take a position. Having traded this one numerous times over the past 2 years I've seen it bounce back repeatedly from it's pullbacks. I think you'll see a nice run until it reports earnings on Feb.14th
Closed at $8.97 today.

I'd like to pick ZANE short please. I shorted this one today at 3.01 amidst the pumpers and im finished w/ it; but may continue to fall.

bahroor
EVCC - Short
what a run.... check please.

aiki14
ARBA short. Looking for a retracement off a 20% gain from last week.

Amnion
FNF long please

englishman26
I haven't played this game for ages! I'd like to pick HMIN (long). More of a long term play really but has a lot of momentum at this current time so could do 10 or 15% next week.

I'll stick with FTEK for next weeks contest. They deal with pollution controls for industrial furnaces and there's always room for growth in that field.

CFHI long. Coming back from it's drop from $16 to $6. MACD(6,12,6) curling up, and nice finish on friday recovering another 8%.

In case you are wondering, the car is a Factory 5 GTM Supercar. This is the rumored Supercar which is currently being built by REVENGE (RVGD).
