Newbie here

I am a new investor to the market. Just finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. I don't have a clue about the lingo used. Could someone please give me some advice?

I would learn as much as possible, and "paper trade" before using real money. Sure, trading with real money is completely different than "paper trading," and you might trade differently because of the emotions involving real profits and losses with real money, but at least you will have a plan you rehearsed as a head start. A lot of smarty pants (about 95%, I believe) think they are smarter than the professional traders and investors they are bettin against, and they get wiped out quickly.

Hope that doesn't sound too negative.

watch CNBC, and browse Yahoo!Finance and other business sites for news stories and whatnot and you'll learn the lingo over time.
