I held off going to Europe (primarily London) this past summer because of the weak dollar. Now, it looks like it's getting stronger. Are we peaking now or do we have more to go?

who knows? I have seen predictions that we could be headed for a 1:1 ratio again with the Euro, but so much depends on government decisions rather than things being indicated by the market. I certainly wouldn't include Japan in my trip right now, but London is starting to look a lot better. And Australia looks really good too.

I looked at Virgin Atlantic, http://www.virginatlantic.com. A trip between most east coast cities and London costs as much as traveling between Baltimore and central Florida (I spent some time recently researching a hypothetical trip). That's absolutely sick. I'd take the trip ASAP.
I thought that England still used the pound as its primary currency. (In any case, it requires about $1.60 to match a pound, which represents a 20% drop since last August.) |

Dollar is getting strength and declining revenue in the overseas business. Consumers are spending less, how long it will continue?
