What do you think would be a fair sentence for Skilling and Lay, assuming their guilty verdict was correct?

I voted for 10 because I'm a sap and feel sorry for their families. Although considering how many peoples lives they affected negatively I understand how someone would feel they should get more time. And since these guys are softer than rotting fruit their time will be pretty sucky (no pun intended). Prior to retiring my work occasionally took me to the NYC corrections facility at Rikers Island and while it's unlikely these guys will see that kind of situation I don't think they will be having any fun anytime soon.

I think they should get probation. That is what that teacher in Florida got for molesting a student. I'm pissed off about this teacher thing.
Nah, they should get 10 years plus 5 years of probation with 10,000 hours of community service watching the border....LOL. |

I said 10 years...
What they did was very bad, but let's face it.. they didn't kill anyone.. so I don't think I could go for 25 years. If 15 was a choice, I would have gone for that. |

Since he has a new found religion, plus his googels of loot protected from the Federalis, Rev. Lay of the Holly Order of Scumbags will be dead of old age before he spends a gentle night with his buds 'round a keg of K-Y, seeing who can squeal like a piggy the loudest...

I originally voted 5 years, but now I feel dumb. Me and guy I work with were talking about this and I now feel what they did was worse than murder when you consider how many people had their retirement stolen! Maybe 5 years in the SuperMax prison

Hopefully 10-15 years in Club Fed...remember this was a Federal crime. No early release
Another thing. If they were given full sentences for the crimes they committed they would get over 100 years. I am very happy that these execs did not gets a slap on wrist like so many before them. |

I voted 25 years. Set a good example because it could be any one of us at our respective co.s with top level executives cooking the books next time.
