What is that? The book of....? So sorry to come off ignorant. I'm was sort of raised a Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,Southern Baptist kind-of-girl. I have never seen that. Please enlighten me. It looked very interesting. |

the gitas are kinda like old testament for hindus. if recollections serves, its a story about krishna explaining the universe and how it works, the nature of humanity stuff, to some prince (arjuna?) before an epic battle. very simplified but i believe accurate.

It is the Hindu "Bible" for lack of a better term (as an athiest I am not the best to make this comparison). It translates roughly from the original sanskrit as The Divine song of God.
