Default How to pay off margin loan?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows how to go about paying off a margin loan from a TD Ameritrade account. My margin balance is showing about -$2,500. I'd like to be able to pay it back with the cash I have sitting in my account without having to sell the stock I bought on margin. Is there a way to do that through the website or do I have to give them a call?

Thanks

Well, I figured out the answer. Looks like the loan get paid off over the course of a few days automatically when you have the cash in your account.

or you can stop using margin

the only time you should probably worry is if you dont know when you should cut your losses or when you start getting fed calls
