Question Monsanto

With big drop today, and results due April 2, I'm thinking the April 115 Calls would be a good play at $2.50/2.75 range. Any thoughts?

I'm a novice, but I was thinking the same thing earlier today because of the drop, the Delta on this option is only 0.2424, based on the implied volatility, MON has the probability of 52% of being under 100 at expiration and a 34% of hitting 115 at some point. I usually try and go for higher deltas but it means I have to pay more for the option. Just my thoughts. As stated I'm a novice, so take it with a grain of salt.

I like all the agriculture names, my favorite is Potash personally but they are all good investments with a great fundamental story. I buy into this sector on every pull back, hasn't failed me yet.

I would rather play monsanto indirectly with other companies like pot, bg, tra, etc. The options will be more expensive for monsanto and others will likely react well to their earnings report if it is as you expect it to be.
