I really don't think we need another stockpicking thread or comparison?!!!!

Thierry you may want to start a whole new Forum for this crap.

Maybe a forum section for these tout sheets, and a separate section for actual trading systems and technical info.

Yes, I was thinking of the same thing. Trying to figure out how to separate these threads, the forum is getting murky, and nasty to boot!

I hadn't noticed, but you may be more sensitive to that than I am. To me it is always cheery here and the air is cool and crisp with a hint of fresh Lychee.

These were stock picker rt picks for today. The guy who runs the site sent me them after the market closed today. I just asked him today for the picks since I bought the program. I asked for tomarrows picks before the market opens or while it is open. Should have my copy tomarrow. This program tells you when to sell and when to stop loss. Marl just does a scan and gives you a symbal.

Having Lychee for desert, maybe that will help. The air is always cheery for you because you don't have to wade through the stuff I do, that doesn't make it online.

In my view, the objective for the OTF here should be to separate "challenges" and other fairly transparent attempts to promote a 'pay-me' site from folks who are, in all honesty and innocence, trying to come up with an investment strategy.

To that end, I would recommend:
  • All 'contest' threads should be moderated.
  • 'Picks' and performance data should be both normalized and validated.
  • Very strict anti-bashing rules should be enforced in a contest thread. These rules should be far more restrictive than those in effect for normal posting.
I think a Dragnet "just the facts, ma'am" approach is the only way to go.
If we let folks spin the picks or results, we're just back in the mosh pit.
