Anyone Know if "Penny Stock Fortunes" Is Legitimate?

I saved $47 thanks to the thread here regarding DoublingStocks. Thanks! Today I got an ad for "Penny Stock Fortunes," paid sponsor of "Broker Adviser." For an annual subscription for 12 issues costing $39, unbelievalbe promises are made regarding hot penney stock picks and "FREE reports with all the details on the four stocks you need to own to start growing your $200 into that $9.4 million." Has anybody paid the $39 to see what comes?

Nope, trash it. If you see the words "unbelievable" and "pennies" together, throw it away.

Same with penny stock and fortune in the same sentence. Bill, stop looking for the easy way, all these stock tout sheets are of dubious value (and that's being generous), or outright criminal enterprises. When you've been in this game a while you'll realize that none of these tout sheets lasts very long. Go to Borders or the forum bookstore, and begin reading, you'll save money in the long run and come away with a knowledge base that will be around as long as you are.

Bill - To back up Aiki's point, have a look through the penny stock forum. Check out where almost every one of the stocks is trading at now (if its still traded). Not to say there is not money to be made, but they almost all end up in the toilet. As they are touted they are dropping like a brick.

I've been a subscriber for years. They do a very good writeup on their monthly picks. It comes online, plus in the mail. A lot depends on whether small caps are in favor. I don't think any of their picks were wrong choices but the timing could be off, just like with Cramer or Toby Smith, or any others like that. I've lost money, I've made money. It's worth the low price. The promo's promise the moon, of course and they are not the ones writing it. They are part of Agora as it ChangeWave and a lot of others.

Right now, Porter Stansberry has put out a big email last night for potential new subscribers for the stock ARNA for a March 31 Phase 1. This has been a PSF pick since last December.
