EXCEL MARITIME CARRIERS (EXM-NYSE): Technical Viewpoint: From a low of $28.21 on Aug 10, 2007 prices rallied, reaching a high of $37.35 on Aug 14, 2007. A decline saw prices pull back, reaching a low of $27.29 on Aug 16, 2007. Another rally saw prices penetrate resistance line "A", closing 8/31/07 at $43.03. Technicals: MACD Index (MACD): A Buy Alert! was given on Aug 24, 2007 when the solid line crossed the dotted line to the upside. Support: Remains at $37.00. Resistance: Is at None at current levels. Point & Figure: Reversed to the upside on Aug 31, 2007. A P&F downside reversal takes place at $40.00. Summary: Technical indicators have turned bullish. BUY! EXCEL MARITIME CARRIERS (EXM-NYSE) @ $43.25 Stop: Use a protective stop of $41.25. EXCEL MARITIME CARRIERS is currently trading @ $43.03 plus $4.03 on Aug 31, 2007.
