Default recommended books

Im not sure if this is the right area to post this under, but I felt it fit here best since it had to do with learning, so here goes.

I decided to make a post where everyone could recommend books to read to learn about the stock market, trading, investing you name it for all the new people like myself.

Theres a ton of books out there, but which ones do the experienced people here recommend and why? Thanks for any feedback. (and if theres a better place for this topic, please move it)

no one has any books to recommend? i figured thered be so much advice id have a hard time choosing...but in that case, websites? anything at all? I have found a few other websites where people mention some books but i figured i lurk around here more than anywhere else and would get the advice form these boards. if anyone has anything at all it would be appreciated. if a mod feels this would do better in a different area please move it. thanks.

There have been many threads on this topic, try a search.
The Can-Slim method is from the Investors business Daily.
I think if you're interested in trading, you'll get something out of Cramers first book, "Confessions of a street addict" and the classic "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" is the book I most often recommend for new traders.
It's not as easy to recommend a book as you might think, there are thousands out there that have been written since I was reading beginner texts. How deep do you want to go? You can read "Stocks for dummies" or you can read the works of Milton Friedman and John Maynard Keynes.

Toni Turner is great, you can't go wrong starting there. Steve Nison's candlestick courses and books are great as well.
