Default candlestick charts and americanbulls

I found a research website that makes daily recommendations based on candlestick charts. If interested, check out americanbulls.com. Didn't know what these were, before the ChartGuru brought them up, but it's all kind of interesting and could something to take into account, when buying or selling. Considering all the aspects in homework, etc.

I have not used candlesticks, but it is something I am looking at....this is great. Do you know anything about the site? What does membership give you?

Seems like there is alot of info and work going into it, where's the money-maker of this site?

Thanks again.

I didn't join anything, just typed stocks in the search box and the charts came up. Interesting, isn't it?

You da man. After my questions about membership, I fished around the site. Looks like you get a faster "heads up" on confirmed buys-sells. $120ish a year. I'm gonna track their progress.

I used their analysis of ebay to verify my predicted drop, and sure enough...my trailing stop caught me at a few cents below todays high before it nose dived.

Thanks again, Luc

They are interesting as a metric to put in your tool bag. I like to look at them after Cramer has recomended a pick and see if there is irrational exuberance. eg he says dont buy over 35 an people still do because he mentioned it and they have to have it.

The only problem I see is that they "pad" their results with the "buy-if" and "sell-if" jargon, which they use if the "buy" or "sell" is confirmed.

Right. It seems very formulaic. By that I mean, if you track a few stocks there, you'll see the same thing coming up about each one if the conditions are right. Actually, I should have said generic, not formulaic.

A better bet, IMO, is the pivot calculator. That has helped a lot.
