Sorry if this was already discussed but I haven't been to the site in a bit and just noticed the 'name' has changed. Was there a legal problem or what was the dealio?

So nobody knows why the name of the site is no longer Cramersmadmoney.com? Was nothing posted about it by Thierry?

The site was started as a discussion forum for cramer's show, but over time evolved more into a discussion having little or nothing to do with Cramer. Cramer's show is actually losing viewers month to month. If you look at the cramer forum days go by without a post. I changed the name and URL of the site for several reasons.

I wanted the site to survive a cancellation of Cramer's show or Cramer's demise if his blood pressure got so high that he actually exploded on the show.

It was also hard to expand the forum's areas of interest with the old name - if I added a new section, it always seemed related to Cramer's show.

I was afraid of losing traffic because many traders don't like Cramer, and the last think they would click on was a link to a Cramer site.

I still own the www.cramersmadmoney.com URL and it redirects to www.OnlineTradersForum.com from the thousands of old links so it is really more of a cosmetic change than anything else.

Okay sounds good. I had just found it odd nobody had mentioned it and thought that maybe somebody had forced you to change it for legal reasons. I think it's a good idea in the long run too.
