Default OII Oceaneering International

I hesitated buying stock in Oceaneering International, after that CEO pulled the "pump and dump" routine on the show, but after watching it for a while, I decided it was a good company and liked that, along with servicing deep water oil drillers, it also has a department that makes things for space exploration. They are working in Congress to increase spending in that area, right now. Today, all the energy stocks I'm watching have dived, except this one. It also beat quarterly estimates by 6 cents. :) GO OII!!

OII was wonderful to me June 6-13 but I got skittish because of the $35- $40 a barrel bs, so took my 5%, since I had recently been decimated on the SYMC slide, since I don't use stops ( $28.50 to capitulating at $18.98 ) So when the ceo was on Cramer, decided to try it again on June 16, and was stopped out on June 24. I see now that I would be upa hefty percentage in the ensueing month and a half from the stop at $38.30. I will listen to Cramer on that point, and not use stops in the future. Unless news of impending doom for a stock, I will not sell on a dip either, after looking back at my past panic mistakes. Good luck on OII.

We got stopped out on a stock and it went right back up, the same day, never to be seen at that level to buy back, again. I know the feeling!

OII doesn't go down as much as some other oil stocks, but it doesn't rise as fast, either... although the general trend has been strong. They reported they are having some trouble with their umbilical cord factory, so I may cash in some profits on this one and choose something else.

OII is not an Oil stock jeez. Its a service company. Look at its web site. Space divsion, Entertanment Div, look at its employment list, they have a hard time finding enough workers to fill its needs but manage.
