Bail out nation, GM to slash 37.000 jobs as they take your money for a turn around and hand out a shit sandwich.
Never before have I hated GM so much that they deserve to go under.
Hell in the late 50's Packard went under and they went quietly and they built some really good automobiles.
The Government has caused more grief than their worth, the auto companies used to build cars and trucks that people wanted.
Since the 1973 Arab oil embargo the US auto industry has never been the same. The epa, nhtsa, fines, cafe standards, emissions,
and the destruction of Detroit and the surrounding areas, abandoned factories, loss of jobs.
Imaginary shortages, Wall street greed the lack of War machine contracts, blaming the UAW, poor quality imported outsourced parts
is all the workers fault that assemble this garbage.
Americans turning on Americans because of how much money somebody makes building these sub standard junk cars is pathetic.
Growing up in Detroit Mi and watching the demise is a real drag, friends and family losing their jobs.
The brain dead lack of common sense in upper management always looking out for themselves.
The myth that foreign cars are any better is nothing but lies. I work in the auto repair industry and they have just as many problems.

If there was a million barrels of oil in the strategic reserve Bush could have saved the economy last summer-
