Any takes on ICE anyone?

I was told about this one three months ago. Wish I would have jumped in. Beautiful...

I have kicked myself many times for selling after the IPO, but I have played it sevearl times since then. I sold today at 166.18, but will look to buy in on a dip. It seems to defy gravity and it could see 200 before May.

I bought it a few months back around $100 ... and then again in the $130s ... got a nice 60% gain at the moment. I recall JPM putting a $178 target on this thing .... getting close. That reminds me ... I need to get another IBD ... see if I can pick up another home run. Unfortunately my shares of NYX didn't follow the same path. Sold those for a slight loss.

ICE seems expensive.. not as expensive as NYX, but the chicago pair seems like a better buy from a valuation point right here.

Probably a good momentum play, but any bad news or earnings dissapointment will probably make it crash.

Intercontinental Exchange:
Feb. 21, 2007 Prudential reiterates Overweight. Target $160 to $205. Prudential raises their tgt on ICE to $205 from $160 saying they believe that the NYBOT soft commodity launch is going well, and that electronic volumes are likely to exceed their initial projections. In addition, based on conversations with market participants, the firm says it appears that O.T.C volumes are still strong after a good start in January.

I'm holding on to some NYX, the darn thing tanked right after I got it at 92 and has stayed down until today. Large buying at about 10 am, someone bought a boatload and it went up $3.

Cramer tonight mentioned that it was his stock pick of the year..... I've done much better with TM and GOOG so far.... Hopefully it will continue its move. I wish Cramer would have given his idea of what expected high might be.

I had a pretty good 50% gainer on the option in 2 days on this. The stock is great in the channel its currently in. pretty safe to buy on the supports with this one
