Merger proposal for Thierry

Thierry it looks like the time has come to merge with Yahoo message boards. The content of this forum has degenerated into personal attacks under the guise of relating to stocks and the market.

Your hands off approach had worked well in the past, as squabbles always worked themselves out in a fairly short period of time. However the recent group of trolls are enjoying the freedom to post as they wish, and it appears they plan on sticking around awhile.

There are some good, knowledgeable people that share their experiences on this forum that are likely to be driven away if this forum continues it's descent into hatersville.

You are probably tired of the games as well and I know you are busy with other projects, but in my opinion it's time to start calling a spade a spade and take the garbage out. There are posters here who's only intent is to argue and ridicule, and they aren't difficult to spot.

Much as I am for open expression, I have to agree with Tony. I'll name names, Watchtvgetpoor and cornerz (assuming they are even 2 people) bring nothing but vitriol. There are several others who are pretty negative but have at least made some contributions, but those 2 are just knuckleheads who are only here to make trouble.

My $0.02 is that it's still worth keeping this forum. If we don't give the knucklehads the time of day, they will eventually tire and go away. Hopefully the good contributors won't leave in the meantime.

I admit that watchTV, cornerz, jack24 and a lot of other character names are distracting as can be, but hopefully this guy (or two?) will get tired of posting conversations with himself and go away.

I think we have already seen watchTV's real angle.. he spouted about how bad Cramer was/is, then about how good he is, and now states that he's a financial professional. He and cornerz must be trying to drum up some business.

I'm likely to put the entire group of malcontents on ignore and return to the worthwhile posts. My wife and kid will thank me for the extra time I will have for them.
