Cramer's Mad Money Daily Recap 8/1/05 - Oil Aboard!

Cramer's favorite oil-play stock is National Oilwell Varco (NOV).

Cramer also recommended EnCana (ECA) and Cimarex (XEC). Cramer predicted oil will hit $100 a barrel.

When Procter & Gamble (PG) closes its deal with Gillette (G) the combined company will be a monster, Cramer said. This is the wrong time to sell Procter, Cramer said. "People are selling because they are bored, and that's wrong."

Procter & Gamble (PG) spends more on research than all of its competitors combined. "This is why you go with best of breed," Cramer said.

Cramer spoke with RadioShack (RSH) CEO David Edmondson on the telephone.

On Monday, the stock climbed more than $3 after it announced a 10-year distribution agreement with Cingular, the joint venture between SBC Communications (SBC) and BellSouth (BLS). The deal meant the end of its current deal with Verizon Wireless (VZ).

Cramer said that with RadioShack (RSH) up more than $3 Monday, it was time to ring the register on Tuesday. Some analysts may upgrade the stock; if so, investors should sell stock into those upgrades, Cramer said.

Is it possible Cramer can singlehandedly drive up a stock?

In his opening discussion about oil Cramer singlehandedly drove CHK up .75 from its closing price and NOV up 1.00+ from its closing price, no way you could have bought NOV at anywhere below 54.50 after he mentioned it, since he's responsible for it, he gets it, I will add NOV to the list at 54.75 after Mad Money is over, he did mention TEX...

Found this Here (http://www.einvesting.com/viewtopic.php?t=1001&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=90).

I'm still new to Cramer...
