One of the perks of making it big in LooneyWood is you can make movies that you are such a big shot the movie goes on and on and on beyond its logical ending

For example, George Clooney has replaced Kelvin Costner (who burned up his career doing this) as the worst offender in doing this

Steven Spielberg and George Lucas also will not just do a basic movie and let it go

High price pedantic movies cannot let themselves crawlllllllllll to a logical ending either

Hate Tom Cruise, but he allows movies to end, plus his movies have logical beginning and middle as well

It is a shame Cruise cannot live his real life the same way

This is pretty loosely connected to the previous post.
The TV is on in the background and what comes on but the original Irwin Allen "Voyage to the bottom of the sea"
A wild group of has beens like Walter Pidgeon, Joan Fontaine and Peter Lorrie and the up and coming hipsters Frankie Avalon and gasp, BARBARA EDEN.
Unblievably cheesy acting, hilarious special effects, and the hope of the human race in one submarine with windows.

Little known fact, Barbara Eden was born Barbara Jean Moorhead and her nickame was BJ. I don't even have a comment on that.

The initial thing is funny

Here is a trivial question about has-been actors: do you know where they end up now?

Trinity Broadcasting Network, which is for me, the Comedy Channel in a sad, sad way

These sad creatures now are wheeled out to chatter "gawd talk" or act in a movies and series produced by this Snake Oil Network

Actually, SON is scary preaching its illogic and worse people buying into this crap--and this audience can vote, own guns, serve on juries, and breed like weeds

I was unfortunate enough to catch a glimpse of "The Punisher" on cable.

The ending, where the bad guy (OF course) gets his due justice, is over-the-top excessive. Paralyzed, hooked to a bumper, dragged, whimpering and doused in flammables as the body runs a gauntlet of explosions in a car lot, etc ad nauseum. It's The Inquisition (for voyeurs) ...filmed in Technicolor and Panaflex.

The overhead shot reveals the pattern of destruction as The Punisher's symbol - a skull. I laughed my ass off.

The only ones punished were ticket buyers who paid for that crap
