I'll go long ANAD again for next week. I've just got a feeling that it's going to make a run this week before earnings release on the 12th.
I think we'll see a new 52 week high by end of week and stock from current $9 area to above $10.
ANADIGICS will distribute fourth quarter 2006 financial results at approximately 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Monday, February 12, 2007.

Anadigics should come in better than expected. If past performance were any indicator, I'd wait until after earnings to take a new position. I've held ANAD for 2 years and in most every case there has been a pullback in share price of up to 10% right after the release. This is largely due to short term investors locking in the profits of the run-up in share price just before earnings are announced.
Afterwards they have continued to recover and moved on to new highs. I've added to my position in each case and profited by doing so. My average cost per share is $3.85. I bought my first shares 2 years ago at $1.39.
As a long-term investment ANAD will do well due to increasing revenues and their recent return to profitability after several years of losses.

Well I have 122 shares that I got in at $9 awhile ago (april last year i believe), so do you think I should sell right before earnings, then buy back once it drops for a couple weeks? Would that even be worth it?

My investment in ANAD is long-term,,i.e.,, 3 -5 years. I'm holding through the ups and downs based on the prospect that ANAD will continue to perform well over time. I look for it to be in the high teens by year end and as high as $30 by 2011. I continue to add to my position periodically and on any significant pullback.
I think you'd fare better holding instead of speculating on short term performance.

It's nice to be in the right place at the right time :D
NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of Anadigics Inc. surged after an investment fund manager, in an interview with Barron's magazine, said profit at the chip maker is poised to explode.
Michael Cahill, managing director of New York-based Chilton Investment Co., said in the interview Anadigics is his favorite play on the migration of mobile devices like cell phones to the Internet.
Cahill, who owns about 11.5 percent of Anadigics' stock, said technology is "just on the cusp of a massive explosion in mobile Internet and computing, and adoption is taking off." Warren, N.J.-based Anadigics, with a projected $168 million in sales last year, makes chips, amplifiers and circuits for cell phone makers like Cisco, Samsung and LG.
Anadigics is "on the verge of a massive earnings acceleration," Cahill said. "This company is growing very rapidly and it is not expensive."
The company's stock trades at nine times Cahill's estimate for 2008 earnings. Cahill said the stock could trade for as much as 20 times 2008 earnings.
Shares of Anadigics rose 88 cents, or 9.7 percent, to $9.95 in premarket trading Monday. The stock closed at $9.07 on the Nasdaq Friday.
This afternoon the stock is at $10.39 after reaching a new high of $10.59.
