Now that Delphi is in Chapter 11, what does that mean for XM Satellite Radio? Delphi is the primary supplier of all of XM's radio units. Delphi's bankruptcy has been a disaster for GM, so does that mean that XM will suffer too?
More importantly, in the event that Delphi ceases to do business, who is in a position to fill the void as XM's supplier?

Pioneer, Audiovox, and TAO are just a few of the other suppliers of portable recievers for XM. I believe that Alpine also makes a head unit that is XM ready. Dell / Samsung is also making a new Dell DJ that is XM ready, but it looks like it won't be ready until 2006. Here is an article about it, thing looks damn sexy. http://www.orbitcast.com/archives/no-dell-dj-satellite-/-samsung-nexus-until-2006
Bottom line is that although DPH was the original supplier of the devices, there are a TON of other companies out there that are coming out with more innovative devices.
Also, try xmfan.com for more news and info. Decent site.
