U.S. Treasury Dept. Gold "glitch" allows you to make up to 665% ...after gold prices rise.
Here are a few hints:
The investment I'm going to tell you about is a form of gold...
But it has NOTHING to do with owning gold bullion, gold mining stocks, gold mutual funds, gold options or futures, or any other type of gold investment you've likely considered before.
Instead, it's a little-known U.S. government investment vehicle, first made public by the Federal government in the early 1900s, under the direction of U.S. Treasury Secretary Charles Barber.
The purpose of this vehicle, at the time, was to protect the U.S. dollar from devaluation and to protect the U.S. economy from inflation.
In fact, when the U.S. government saw how good this gold vehicle was at creating wealth for the country's richest people, President Franklin Roosevelt outlawed it on March 9th, 1933.
Americans were forced to liquidate their investment holdings. Those who failed to do so faced a 10-year jail term, a $10,000 fine, plus a penalty of twice their investment's value.
This glitch in the gold system lasted 41 years. Americans were not allowed to invest in this Secret Gold Currency Investment again until December 31st, 1974, when President Ford finally re-legalized it.

The other thing he talks about is "dividend paying stocks". But what is this "secret" gold thing? Anyone figure it out?
If I could make 665% on anything I damn sure wouldn't be wasting my time trying to get people to subscribe to my secret, lol.

Geezzz, if this keeps up maybe this site should be renamed to:
spamsuckersforum.com.
What's going on ? :?:
Is there not an appropriate forum to post, shall we say advertisement?
How is this related to stock picks and strategies?

Because I read this and I figured out what he was talking about in the little newsletter but I'm unsure about what this "secret" investment in gold is. It's bothering me that I can't figure it out.
I was hoping someone here would know.

I can't figure it out after searching and searching. Maybe the old caveat "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" fits. Who knows though, I wouldn't doubt our government has a way to take care of the super rich. >>>shrugs shoulders<<< This is the timeline news he talks about.
March 14, 1900 - Gold Standard Act fixed value of dollar against gold.
March 16, 1933 -- President Franklin D. Roosevelt deleted gold from coinage, from circulation and from collections; illegal to hold gold in United States; April 5, 1933 - President Roosevelt forbade hoarding of gold, required delivery of gold coins to government; August 28, 1933 - Executive Order regulated hoarding, exporting of gold; prohibited holding of gold by United States citizens.
April 3, 1972 - Official U.S. gold rate raised from $35 per ounce to $38 per ounce.
February 13, 1973 -- President Nixon raised official gold price in United States from $38.00 an ounce to $42.22 an ounce.
December 30, 1974 - Public Law 93-373 allowed United States citizens to own gold; first time since 1933; December 31, 1974 - United States citizens permitted to buy gold coins, gold bullion.
;) True but can you figure it out? He's got me stumped, the other thing he's talking about is dividends in that promo newsletter thing.
Unless I'm missing something; he's talking about collecting subscription money in return for some secret that will turn out to be useless information, much like the many ads touting free govt grant money and the like or paying for info on how to legally not file a tax return. Just another scam, he prays on the uninformed that are caught like deer in the headlights of the 665% touted figure and he prays on the informed that know better by creating that mystery of "I know it's bs, but I need to know what his angle is" Either way, you click and subscribe and he wins...and that's all I need to know.
Disect each paragraph; it follows every typical infomercial formula; the main product pitch followed by special added bonus gifts for acting now and then making the reader believe that the author is a philanthropist barely breaking even on this deal (despite being fantabulously wealthy from his Secret Gold Currency - note the capitalization of each word there, lol) And of course at the end we are told that this "Secret Gold Currency" has made a big move recently, implying that we better move now before we miss the big jump and our share of the 665% in profits. I don't see any mystery here, none whatsoever.

I don't know either but there are highly leveraged positions one could take that would result in very big profits "if the price goes up", but would also take big hits if it went down.
Since the article references a "currency vehicle" it could be a note tied to a forex position with the 400X leverage of the Forex trade multiplied by additional leverage of an options or futures contract. Could get messy if the price goes against you.

Hello,
He's talking about gold coins. Not nearly as exciting as he makes it out to be. The "glitch" if you can call it that is the time between FDR and Nixon when private ownership of gold bullion was banned. The "secret" is some of the coins minted can become collectibles and then take on higher value premiums over just plain gold.
Cheers

I know it's an ad but I'm not sure what he's talking about, what could this "investment vehicle" be. I thought my knowledge of fiance was good enough to know but I guess no which is why I'm asking.

I don't think this makes any sense, the value of collectable gold coins is less correlated to the value of gold than bullion coins, it has to be as there is a "collectability" built into the proposition. If gold goes up it doesn't affect the collectability of the item just the intrinsic value. Making 665% on these things seems very tough as the coin experts would have such a leg up on the average person, and I don't see any way to leverage up a collectible. Then add the tax on profiting on a collectable and it makes things even tougher to milk a profit out of it.

ah ok that makes sense, thanks!
So are US coins exempt from being seized? Or is it foreign currency in gold like the krugerand or Philharmonic that can't be taken away?

How did I loose them? Well, that would be bragging and that's not really my style.
Perhaps you meant to ask how I did I lose them? Pretty easy; rented a u-haul, packed my stuff and drove off.
