I'm new to investing, I live with my parents. I currently attend college. My question is, when is time to do taxes my parents still claim me on their forms. Will i need to pay some sort of tax for investion online? I am clueless in this subject. I only have around $1,000 invested in my sharebuilder account, but I am in the process of opening an account with scottrade.

You can't escape taxes Hyper. You'll need to consult w/ an accountant or with a tax specialist on this issue because you'll need to figure out how these potential earnings will be reported.
If you're eligible, open a ROTH IRA. The money grows tax free. No need to worry about taxes during tax time.
