Gateway Computers

I work for a state agency here in Ga and today I saw and heard something positively weird: this agency is buying more and more computers from--gasp--Gateway! Yea, moving away from Dell...In the past, this agency buys tons and tons of Dell products...This tech guy said Gateway has better pricing and service...I do not know if other state agencies are doing the same

I used to work in an IT department and we loved Dell, but now it seems the company is using Lenovo (IBM) more and more. I know Dell has had a bad time with customer service lately..maybe this has something to do with the trend.

As for me I sold my last Dell and became a Mac guy. The only trouble is finding compatible trade platforms (Scottrade Elite doesn't work), but other then that I love Apple service.

Maybe you will be in luck with Scottrade, because in Feb the company is doing major updating to the site

Re Gateway: when it releases its ER, it might be worth a scan to see if there is any life there, and this is the type of company that could become positive to Jim just because it is so off the chart
