I heard that too, Castro being deathly ill. Who knows how high it will go. Traditionally, after a 20% gain i'm looking to cash out. Your guess is as good as mine. But it's still just a guess.

I'd say basd on technicals you at least have another couple dollars upside. Ho immenent is Castro's death. If it's a sure bet I'll buy in below $15 tomorrow.

Just an article that I found concerning Cuba opening up. I was going to invest in a Canadian company two years ago but Castro was still in too good of shape, and the company is in bad shape. This company however is all over the Carribean so work in water plants, transportation etc. The EPS went from a negative from last November to a current low possitive. WHEN more negative news comes out about Castro I can't see why this stock won't go up. Cubans living in Florida are showing interest in using this company for cargo transportation to Cuba to the States etc.

Definatly a speculative stock that I could use lots and possibly make a good return, time will tell.

IMPLOSION is expected in Cuba in next few months.
Raul wants change.

Raul Castro, who runs Cuba's armed forces and is now acting head of state and the party, was once the Kremlin's man in Havana, but today he is seen to favour more room for private initiative to revive the economy.

At a meeting with university students in December, the 75-year-old general invited more debate on public policy and said the time was coming for a new generation to lead Cuba

I lost return on this drop today. I thought it would run a few days more since Fidel is still on the line of death.

If I had a REAL TIME quote system I could have sold at 18 today. 20 minutes after I was able to find out it was 18 it had already dropped. I thought that it would recover, thought I'd let it run and check after work. BOOOO and no Yah. :-))

So, I guess I'll sell first thing AM, does anyone have any reason why it will go up or should I keep it until he dies and then cash out?

Tough call because it's not really a good stock.

I don't know who your broker is but I'd fire them immediately (Trump style) and get a new broker with REAL TIME quotes (which I thought ALL brokers have  ).

Scottrade PLUS Adelphia = a slow report.

Darn, I could have really made a big return but Scottrade is a delayed report and Adelphia was bought by Time Warner and they decided to work in our area today!

What have you been using? Isn't your reports delayed?

Rich, I had a problem with Scottrades real time but mine were only 2-3 minutes behind. then i worked with them and discovered it was my machine. A few updates later and I was fine.
Are you using Streaming data? see attached pic.

And always use Trailing Stops if you're in it for a quick flip but cant sit there and watch it my friend.

I was hit hard today, everything but one went down. The crappy delay and Time Warner problems really put the the hurt on me, I'm still in the possitive but many gains have vanished. Then I had to go to work. Oh well, I'm promised this days bread and nothing else.

A "trades"man without the right tools is like tyring to have an Ox plow without a harness. I learned this today firsthand....

Scottrade hasn't impressed me much since I've started with them back in Novermber. I dislike their three inch very limited charting and their site as a whole. I'm thinking about switching soon but need suggestions from other past Scottrade users.

I will call them tomorrow and see if there is a problem. I assumed by the reviews that Scottrade is a delayed report and was 'somewhat slow'.

Scroll down the list here and see what the rating is on Scottrade, not very impressive. ......

Symbol CUBA

Some interesting things happening.

The one day the stock went down, probably due to profit takers that were waiting for a few years to get their money out.

But, the stock has been pretty steady, and now the press is picking up on this stock in what I would say a pretty big way.

Personally, I believe its speculative, but I honestly feel if Fidel gets sicker and it gets on the evening news, I think this thing may go up big time.

I'm out of town for a few days so If I don't respond please forgive me.

Here are a few articles of interest.
