Haven't played a penny in a while besides AVNU for my $500 exp.

Instead of hitting the casino this weekend, I thought I'd play a penny instead

Scanned thru dozens of oversold pennies last night and only found one I liked, AGIXQ.

And the facts to go along with it:

AGIXQ - Here is the deal - it costs on average 1.3 billion dollars to bring a new drug to market. AGIXQ has a Phase III drug that last reported strong results and is close to FDA approval. All Big Pharm have seen their drug pipelines diminish dramatically and are looking to add new drugs through acquisition and buyouts - more expensive to start from scratch these days.

Also - diabetes drugs are now more scrutinized then ever and new guidelines have been instituted for Phase I and Phase II that will cost companies millions and delay the drug for years. AGIXQ's drug is in Phase III.

So - this is a highly sought after drug, in Phase III, and the O/S shares are only 39 mil. Debt load is about 300 mil., they have 50 mil. in cash, so for a measely $3.00 a share and paying off the debt Big Pharm is looking at $400 mil.

Rumors of 3-5 bidders that could take it even higher. So for half of what it would cost to bring a new drug to market they can have AGIXQ's already in Phase III.

Looks much more Junior then the one I offered here - DDS - BUT phase III sounds interesting.

Beware however, the FDA is understaff and has been a royal pain to all Drug Manufacturers and Researchers because of it and pushing evaluation dates and commitments like you would not believe - I have the scars to prove it!

Shall dig more into this one, for heck at a dime or so , risk / reward could be interesting.....

Now where would you have sold? Haha, bet a lot of people are slapping their foreheads at the end of the day after selling on the first dip..

Curious to know, if you care to share - what was it that triggered your sale/exit on the position ?

Was it your original plan to exit at a fix % gain or was there something in the movement/trading action that raised an alarm bell and you elected to bail?

(Have you noticed the spanking today ? 33% down closed at 0.10¢)

L2 quotes showed weak bidding support, so I took profits.

And the spread that morning was unusually wide so I got out (order executed on my laptop driving up to the mountains! haha)
Good thing I did!

I really only played this for the momentum...

The 'story' that's going around is...they have 120 days before their Ch. 11 bankruptcy is up and they're planning to have a buyout soon, I believe that period ends early February.
I believe this play is over though...but who knows.
