I'm glad this place exists as I know that at all the other forums I visit, they must get tired of my stock-market questions and observations. Hopefully I have found the right place here. I look forward to being a part of this site and am glad that I saw it on either Morningstar or MSN Money.
Just some about me;
After 9/11, my Dad took me to open an online account as he had worked for GE and had seen that the stock had gone way down after the attack. I played around with the DJ stocks, BOE, RTN, XOM and of course, GE and did ok trading in and out every week or every few weeks. Then in 2006, I sold everything to fund a large purchase. I had to stay out of the market, and I'm glad I did as I avoided the huge October plunge, until I saved up enough to "play" with again. The end of this past October was the time to get back in and recently things have been great.
Onto the forum.
