Just got a new puder w/flat screen monitor. When I open the streaming quotes window and the java applet window opens, the text is a lot smaller than on my old CRT monitor.
Does anyone know how to increase the text size in the applet window? I can do it anywhere else but there. I am using Scottrade Elite. I have emailed Sun Microsystems, HP, searched and emailed Microsoft. No answers.

It's because you have a higher resolution on your new LCD monitor, thus allowing more space for stuff to be displayed.
In your Quote Grid, Top Performers, or and other main window inside Scottrade Elite, click on Settings (the rightmost button in the top panel of the window), and you should see in the right panel of the window that pops up a button to change your Font settings.
In there you can adjust your font/size to your liking!

Thanks! I was able to change the font on the scottrader pages but not on the applet window. Changing the monitor resolution down one notch did the trick! The java applet expanded just right.
