Pick any stock that trades in the US market that closed at $2.00 or over with at least 100,000 share volume as of the Friday close before the contest.

Your entry price will be the market open price on Monday morning.

Entries for following week's challenge opens at Friday's market close - 4:00 pm EST - and closes at 9:00 am EST Monday.

A brief rationale for your pick makes the contest more fun.

VRNT is at $34 and a daily average volume of over 100,000. It's fine.. I doubt it was a winner anyways.

I'm not sure where you get your numbers but the average volume on this is 76,000. Like you said - you wouldn't have won anyway so no worries.


I'll take DWSN next week on the unashamed basis that IBD just picked it!

There's nothing in the rules about average volume - it is volume of 100,000 shares on the Friday before the contest. VRNT traded 98,900 shares last Friday - close, but no cigar!
