Ford's volume huge today and the price is dropping. I remember a while back Cramer saying Ford was a gift under 7.50. It looks like it could go below 7! Any thoughts?

If someone gave me a Ford product, I would immediately sell it and buy something more reliable. I would do the same if I were given shares. Just my .02

sold my jan07 900puts at 145 because i was thinking the same as you and did not want to be a hog. I still doubt you will see it below 7.

same news took F down twice as much a few days ago

wow at the volume, some big boys dump today? haven't had a chance to take a look at the transactions.
big boys dumping is starting to worry me a bit (overall market).
GM, Ford, many more..

anyway, having said that, I think it goes to 7 and bounces from there. I would only day trade this one. Something about a Ford smells fishy.
Should get many buys at 7 after the smaller fish dump tomorrow, maybe even Monday too.
Just watching for now.

I just see it in Scottrade's streaming quotes, its one of the options there.. doesn't say who, but I can see if large blocks went across..
I'm sure you can see a summary somewhere else if some big names dumped a lot of shares.. just haven't researched the news.

I wouldn't touch this stock until it gets about 6.50. imo, it will easily go below $7.00. The bottom is somewhere between 6 and 6.50.
Stage your buys, but at least wait until 6.75.

When I looked at it this morning it was at 7.06 but has bounced back since.

you're right rfi, it is forming a hammer in the oversold area..
if I wanted to trade it today, I would have had an order filled just above 7 and plan on selling within 2 days around 7.5 - 7.75
however, I'll wait and see what it will do, might consolidate in the low 7s for a few days first before making a move (in either direction).

Honestly, I won't trade it at all probably unless it hits 6 :lol: . GL!
