Thierry, can I change the poll to allow multiple selections?

Good catch English, I spaced it.

I am an opportunist so what ever is paying off I'll look at, I have most of my liquid assets in buy and hold long term stuff and retirement vehicles, but I really enjoy the fast trading and have had a great time doing that for the last few years. Until the real estate market comes back I'll keep playing the stock market, then it's back to sure things.

Jim, do you ever flip properties for a quick profit? I've been hooked on those shows lately. It's something I'd love to do one day but I don't have the capital or experience yet; only passion.

Can't change it after the fact - you can only choose this option when setting it up sorry

That's how I earned my living from 2000 til jan 06. Mainly in the eastern shore area of maryland, where there were good values and the big real estate guys hadn't really got in there. I still have 1 place there I am rehabbing on weekends, but I'll probably wait for the market to come back before I move it. Learn about 1031 exchanges before you get into the flips, it's a tax dream come true if you're looking to increase value (as opposed to cashing out). Right now all my properties are rentals run by management companies, as this market is not conducive to trading around here, and I like to be within a couple hours travel from the properties.
