I'm a n000b when it comes to investing/trading, anyways I'm generally looking for stocks under $15 because i'm cheap! Heres a few I've had my eye on, please let me know what you think.

If you can be a little more specific, many here can help you out.
risk tolerance? trading style? why you like these? what you look for? how long you like to hold? financial goal (other than make money)? etc..

Buy the first one last july and the others last february. Otherwise you may have missed the boat.
If you are following them, what was it that got your attention? Do they still have those characteristics? If so buy them, if not look elsewhere.

I don't really have a trading style just yet since I'm new to the game, I would like to hold till a gain of anywhere from 5%-10% maybe 3-4 months. I just opened a ROTH IRA account with scottrade for about $1,500 just to play around with so nothing major. I'm only 18 years old so I can tolerate a lot of risk.
CHINA because they are expecting to increase annual earnings by 136% in 06 and 42% in 07. -china.com CHINA recently hit a new high about a week ago, I think it still has potential.
SWHC i'm still 50/50 on it's a very volatile stock, and i think it's ready for a downfall, but sales have continued to increase for four quarters in a row.
LNDC makes polymer products and has a growth rate of about 130%, seems like a good buy.

Well, first of all, not the average 18 yr old opens a Roth account, so congrats, smart step in the right direction. When I was 18 I took my money and... well nevermind.
However... I don't think 1,500 is enough to play around with stock(s). It would be a great amount for an ETF maybe? Basically one commision, one ETF, already diversified, and shouldn't be hard to get that 10% in 4 months that you're looking for playing it safe. The key is fininding the right one in the right sector at the right time.
But since you're willing to take a higher risk, picking one stock is probably your best bet, 2 max with that amount of money. (I know some people buy stock for 100 bucks a transaction, I never understood that).
All 3 of your picks are overbought with new highs, not exactly a place to buy right now IMO. I'd wait for a pullback if you like these and already done your homework.
Otherwise, stick around, a lot of smart people here posting their picks all the time. At least you're not looking for a penny stock that will make you rich quick (or turn that 1500 to 200 quick)!
Welcome aboard.

a quick opinion on your 3 picks without doing any homework on the companies themselves...
CHINA: might consolidate in this area for a few more days, watch it closely, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it pull back to the 8 dollar area and that might be a good entry point.
SWHC: looks like it might be trading in a channel for the time being. Going back and forth between 11.5 to 14.5. I wouldn't buy this one right now either.
LNDC: has a lot of resistance in the 11.50 area and it looks to me like it will fill the gap down to 10. Low volume though, I don't like that at all.
Hope this helped some. GL!

hey tyler... im in the same boat as you started with around 1200 when i was 18. Ive had about a year messing around with stocks, well actually i got suckered into those damn pennys, started off with beginners luck doubled it real quick and once i made it to college and got stuck with a couple of bags i lost everything plus 50% of my initial. I am slowly building it back up but with the help of some books and checking this board every day... You might find even cheaper oversold stocks on this forum that i think will give u a greater return with less risk.... goodluck
