I have created a style for the forum that doesn't include ads. This is an experiment, since we depend on ad revenue to survive. Go to the bottom left of the forum and choose from the drop-down menu "Blue on Blue ad free," and you will have an ad-free version of the site. I will be watching the revenue, to see what the effect is.
My guess is that only the regular members will use this, and you don't click on many ads. Lurkers, occasional visitors, etc. won't know about the option, or won't take the time to change it, since the default will be the ad-displaying version.
Hope you like it, and that I can keep it going. When I'm using wifi, the pages load up much faster for me.
