Stock Picking Challenge
Pick the highest percentage mover and win a free hardcover copy of Conquer the Crash!
Pick any stock that trades in the US market that closed at $2.00 or over with at least 100,000 share volume as of the Friday close before the contest.
Your entry price will be the market open price on Monday morning.
Entries for following week's challenge opens at Friday's market close - 4:00 pm EST - and closes at 9:00 am EST Monday.
A brief rationale for your pick makes the contest more fun.

PNTR (short)... up 256% from it's 21 Nov 06 close for a great quarterly report... maybe it will settle down from it's $15.16 close today. It's in the bozosphere right now.

Xing, may be ready to move up again based on Friday's movement and while not a true indicator, it seems to be popping up on many traders' radar across the net, perhaps generating more buying interest.

aapl this week. I think the iphone rumors, banks lifting their target pricing, and all the news about increased computer sales might have this stock push over $100.. Just a hunch

good pick spanky, hasn't been a good week at all =/
LMRA next week please; they've been so quiet for past two weeks..no news at all; something bound to happen...i can feel it. they also stated a while ago to begin releasing their products near the end of the year, have yet to see them.
