Question regarding day trading below 25k?

I am not sure whether this is the correct thread but please dont remove this thread unless I get the answer :)

I had problem with Thinkorswim before where I day traded 4 times in 5 bus days. That was my mistake but the issue got resolved by Clearing firm and they allowed me to normally trade. That was last week.

Got the same problem this week but this time I did got 40 SDS, held overnight, Sold in parts 20, 10 and so on... So did I do day trade? They told me that I made more than 1 day trades :confused2:

Also 1 question....say I buy 40 stocks today and sell 20 same day then 10 same day....How many day trades are made? 1 or 2.

Thinkorswim is easy as they clearly mentions the number of day trades remaining on the platform. I did what they showed but then saw that my account is flagged as a pattern day trader.....This is ridiculous. Now they tell me to wait for 90 days to get normal trading.

Please let me know in some clear words and not post the link :)

If you need to get around that, I know a broker in Seattle that allows daytrading with under 25,000 thru the use of pooled funds.
