I'm curious to know what you all think about Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC)? They have been hammered by dilution and the MM's serverly over the last year and the stock is now trading at $0.35. They released PR today on the phase III trials stating they have meet their goals for Pixantrone. As well, they released PR on positive data for Zevalin(R) + Rituximab. ( http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/news/Stock%20News/2009745/ )

CTIC is scheduled for meetings with the FDA in Decemeber regarding Zevalin sBLA acceptance, a decision re: priority review for Zevalin, and the Pixatrone pre-NDA FDA meeting.

Even though the stock has been hammered, and investors have lost faith in management, I feel this stock is going to fly or the company will be bought out by Novartis. Even with the debt CTIC has incurred, the company is trading at way below it's real book value, especially when you look at the estimated 34~40 million in sales from Zevalin in 2009 alone.

I came across this stock last week. The news out today is good, yet it still is taking a beating. Interesting. It only has 14M shares outstanding with the same in the float....and it still goes down on news! Looks like its targeted by some shorties/naked shorts due to the low amount of shares. They have a lot of debt and they will have to hope they can manage it and that their new drug application is processed quick. If I already owned it, I would average down or just hold it. There are bound to be some up days in the near future... and the stock is at a pretty solid resistance point.

Another Option you have if you are not comfortable with the stock anymore is to jump ship and find a stock that is of equal value/share - but might have a better future.... For example, check out GSAT You could invest in them and own part of a chain of satelites for the same price as CTIC.

Thanks for the feedback Mr. Bad. I think I'm going to stay in at least until December 9th-15th. The American Society of Hematology meeting is Dec 6-9 and the full data set will be presented, it's a big meeting, we will should, hopefully, see a climb after that. There will also be a decision on the Zevalin sBLA soon to.

Bought in at .31 and have made a lot of money on this one. Closed today at 1.78. Should go thru the roof in the next few months after FDA approves it's new cancer drug.
