I've done some research, read the paper that came out of Kellogg last March, and am fairly convinced that there is a predictable impact on a given stock the morning after Cramer talks about it. Granted there is an impact in after-hours trading, as well, but this is not something that many of us could capitalize on - due to the complication in getting after hours historical data from which to build a "game plan." This is mainly for the stocks in his opening segments, NOT stocks that callers ask about. I do, however, believe that the stock predictability on the morning following his mention is something that we could make money off of.

Here is what I propose: PM me if you are interested in being involved. I do not want to make this too public because it might get a little out of hand if it works.

I am looking for the following information/data (and anyone who helps me in my quest for said info/data will get full disclosure to any plan I come up with - you'll have to take my word for it that I am capable of thorough/innovative data analysis, I do it for a living):

- any summarized data of Cramer's picks, including which segment he spoke of them in. Just saying "Mad Money" is not enough - as it doesn't give an idea as to the intensity of rec.

- any info as to the best online tool for analyzing by minute quote data and being able to quickly zoom to a given day/time. Needs to be interactive. Like a mix between BigCharts.com and finance.yahoo.com.

- any info as to what tool would allow me to input lists of stocks and lists of time frames to go with each stock. A program that would go pull each time period for each stock and output raw data (not graphed) would be awesome. One could collect a large amount of volume data in a short amount of time.

- any previously proposed methods of playing Cramer's recs the morning or day after mention on Mad Money. It's always good to know what has been tried.

I am further along with this process that one might expect by my request. This info would help speed up the process. It's going to get done - if you want to be a part of it. Let me know.

I've been scouring the internet for the last four days and am becoming quite desperate. Is there ANY way to get access to the TAQ database that is fairly affordable? I have an idea that I need to back-test, by the minute. Anyone that could help would certainly be rewarded financially for years to come.

In e-trade pro, the time and sales tab, can be set for after hours and it will give you minute to minute trade data. Watch out for block trades as well since they are usually between broker dealers and may be recorded out of sequence.

Thanks for the reply. Will it give historical after hours data?
