Pops and Drops are anecdotal accounts of the current situation.

Mine is kinda both. Well, maybe not.

I've noticed at least two ads on Craigs List trading "whatever" for room and board by self described good looking women, intimating sex would be on the table (or maybe floor or couch).

Also, a couple of weeks ago, a friend bought a big screen and was happy with the extended warranty he got...........from Circuit City (hehe).

Pop: Continental Airlines...............they actually serve food and drinks
Drop: Jamaican resorts................the atmosphere was decidedly downbeat compared to previous years
