I would like to to see all the NASDAQ stocks in a excel format that I could sort on by price, P/E, etc.... Does anyone know a website that this can be done. I found on the S&P 500 site they offer a download at this url

http://www2.standardandpoors.com/portal/site/sp/en/us/page.topic/indices_500/2,3,2,2,0,0,0,0,0,2,3,0,0,0,0,0.html

I would like to find something similar for NASDAQ.

Thanks....

It's going to be quite a list with thousands of stocks to check at...

So far what I've found you can do is check out Y! Finance's link here: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/cp?s=^IXIC

And scroll to the bottom and click "Download to Spreadsheet" and it'll give you the excel file of the current 50 displayed on the page, so you'll have to do that quite a number of times to get the whole list.

I'll update if I find anything else for you.

MSN Money has a screener you can use to filter out stocks in the NASDAQ:

http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/market/ratingsandrecommendations.aspx

You'll be able to better narrow down what you're looking for.

There's no "instant-access" list for what you're looking for I believe; if you're computer saavy you can put together an excel file that'll grab the quotes from you from a feed.

Read here (http://www.ondotnet.com/pub/a/dotnet/2001/12/10/excelstocks.html?page=1) for more info.

Hope that helps.
