I came across this firm's website after conducting many web searches on bank mergers and acquisitions. The firm follows banks and thrifts, financial services, insurance, real estate and the energy sector. They have a great newsletter which discusses the state of M&A's, how they happen, what may happen next and why and a ton of other information on this sector of the business world. The subscription is a bit out of my league at $1700 a year, but the free newsletter which you can download from May 2006 is FREE and offers a lot of interesting insights...
