Can't you see whats happening. Paulson is using our money to bail out his old firm.

Someone needs to go to jail here.

By the way a bailout will do nothing but hand out money to themselfs and plunder the middle class.

The fed cut obviosly will do nothing either.


The only thing that could save this mawket would be a 50% cut on tax accross the board and Da-govment aint about to do dat!

LOL...Time for facetious predictions, here's mine.

Paulson doesn't do anything with the 700 billion, just waits until the financial system as a whole collapses. Blames it on congress for delaying. Then he gives the whole 700 billion to Goldman Sacks who in turn, buys the whole banking system.

If they have their way, GS will write an amendment to the Constitution saying shorting by the public is prohibited, except those who are privileged to work in GS's trading department.

I think this administration, yet again, got over on the American people using fear mongoring to achive its plan...a plan to yet again expand the sphere of government power.

yes people should be going to jail...starting with Bush.
