Is there an online ETF list out there that has "all" ETFs (all sectors), broken down by a 52 average volume (where I can see a list of the highest to the lowest volume) or be able to sort the list in that way? :confused2:

Aiki14, thank you for the 3 links. Since you sent them, I have viewed all three websites, however I do not see an option on any of them where you can get a 52 week listing of the ETFs sorted by average volume. So unless I did something wrong or I missed something, none of the three sites provide any sorting options to kick-out volume. So I am still in need of a little more help, if you are able to help me further. :frown: Thank you.
Glen
P.S. If a 52 week listing is not available, I would be happy just to get a daily volume listing of all EFTs solely . . . if there is such an animal. :frown:

Volume ranked lists:
Daily volume: http://news.morningstar.com/etf/Lists/ETFReturns.html (You can organize the list by Descending order by clicking on the Column header "Trading Volume")
1-month avg: http://www.masteremail.com/Content/ETFlist3DescendingVolume.htm
3-month avg: http://finance.yahoo.com/etf/browser/tv?k=6&c=0&f=0
But remember the supply/demand (volume) of an ETF is not in itself a factor in the price movement; it's the value of the holdings in its index that counts.

Thanks Albert0373! This is PERFECT! This exactly what I am looking for. "I am glad that such a list exists." For sure I want to always throughly research any EFT I plan to buy, yet I am only interested in high volume EFTs, as I am not interested in any that has an average or daily low trade volume, yet I always take in account the value of the holdings in its index (when I am researching EFTs). Thanks a MILLION! :top:

Sorry Glen, I only read the first part of your question I guess. Albert seems to have taken care of it though

Would either of you forum leaders care to give recommendations, or a short list of ETF's to further investigate. There seems to be a fair amount of these and I'm looking for a place to start since this is most likely where I'll be looking to put my first investment money.
