After the return from the California trip Jim commented that Illegal Aliens were needed in the nursing homes. Thus biting the hand that feeds him, the taxpaying Americans who would otherwise have the jobs. I've lived in both atmospheres, those filled with Illegals when I lived in LA and with far less of them at my present "inner America" location. So here is what really happens when Illegals come:
Illegals have devastated both citizen/tax-payer economies which rely on service jobs since so many factorys left the USA. No don't give them citizenship or worker visas since they still steal our precious service jobs. What do people mean Americans don't want these jobs?
ULTIMATE TAX SCAM: The truth is that Illegals are loved by business so businesses can falsify their taxes paying less, avoid paying employment & unemployment taxes, and avoid paying a living wage. This is not Mad money but Stupid money.
Where illegals arrive they pay no taxes but they do get free government services in education for their children, free roads, free police protection, and since hospitals must treat anyone walking in the door they get free health care.
And yes they take a citizen's job away, a citizen that pays Jim & Me in the legal economic system where we both function, the hand that feeds us.
ECONOMIC COSTS: Consider the costs of the above: Tax paying citizens must leave the area since they can't get work since illegal aliens work for less money. Man have I witnessed this. A black guy I know of had to leave LA when the Illegals working cheaper than him made it effectively impossible for him to get a job. As thousands of Illegals pour in over the border you can imagine he is not the only one. Other blacks and whites live on government welfare as Illegals take their jobs. In the Kentucky mountains over 50% of the population lives on welfare in some counties as Illegals take over American jobs, normally they would move to a big city but the jobs are taken by Illegals.
Approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the restaurant jobs in my area are taken by Illegals. This has devastated the local citizen economy which relies on these service jobs since the factorys left. Also the construction jobs are taken in the same way by Illegals and these were some of the best paying jobs in the area. If the factories had not left having Illegals around still bids down the pay for the jobs to below a living non-poverty wage. Over population is totally poor economics in a mechanized society, you should read this sentence again. This is not Mad money but stupid money.
FREE CITIZENSHIP: They steal a job from a taxpaying citizen then they get free citizenship for their children. When the Illegals children are born in the USA they get free citizenship and now pay taxes and then become poorer like other citizens so more Illegals are needed to take their place. This has already happened in LA where citizen Latins go on welfare or commit crimes as Illegals get their jobs.
They also get free education that destroys school quality since schools can't afford the teachers. School violence, especially unreported violence, increases since if you report them for threatening you in school they beat you up; this happened to a friend of mine in an LA school, repeatedly. How do you laugh this one off or spin it Jim?
Illegals family sizes exceed the efficient nuclear family of 2 children so now more government services are needed breaking the back of the government and increasing taxes on the already tax loaded citizens cheating those with smaller families who now pay for free education, services, other entitlements, to the Illegals many children.
Then the citizenship stealing child uses the court twisted affirmative action and equal opportunity laws to get a job in front of a black, a white, or other real honest American. A civil rights attorney uses the twisted civil rights laws to sue anyone who doesn't hire these privileged criminal's/illegals children. They are not undocumented workers they are undocumented criminals. This is a fair assessment to anyone living around it as I have.
JAILS/CRIME: Need I even mention the jail population of Illegals? In my area the small group that has arrived has started a literal crime wave. The flea markets now have constant stealing going on off table tops that never happened before. The construction sites have odd things happening where Illegals mowing the lawns at nearby houses carefully cut the copper wire out of new houses when the electricians are at lunch then sell it to metal recycle businesses! The recycler companies cooperate with this even though they know the copper wire is stolen since it is brought to them perfectly cut to fit in an 18" cooler for hiding. Certain areas of town are not safe anymore etc.. One farmer I know of has to hire night guards to protect his barn making him far less profitable and subjecting him to civil rights lawsuits every time he catches an illegal stealing and holds him for the police to come. Sorry this isn't prejudice it is experience over much time, years. I experienced the same when living in Los Angles. Bush is a "Vote Whore" to have looked the other way over this issue.
VOTING: They vote for looser South American poverty causing laws, not smarter American type laws. Example: the marriage/divorce "community property law", that makes it possible to marry for money and leave with it, is an old Spanish/South American/Euro law put in, in California where the Illegals children vote. I have a relative that after one divorce just shacks up with their next companion since she and he can't afford the loss if they did marry and divorce due to the strange community property law. The family now avoids them due to embarrassment and they quite frankly are also ashamed about it. Mexico is poverty stricken for a reason, poor social values, why should these values come to and influence the USA?
BRIEF ECONOMIC EXAMPLE: Normal Taxpayer: pays 15% of income to cover education, roads, etc. while earning say $14,000 a year, thus pulling their own weight.
Add just one Illegal Alien taking away the citizen's job thus $14,000 loss to citizen per year, free hospital health care of say average for a community loss per Illegal of $1,500 per year conservatively, rental laws are violated as more than one person/family occupies a single apartment causing a full rents loss as multiple Illegals live together amounting to rent loss per apartment conservatively of $7,000 per extra individual/family in the apartment. So: just one illegal has cost the citizens $14,000 + 7,000 + 1,500 = $22,500 in even a brief assessment; the economic value of their work will never make up for this since they do menial labor. What kind of lie can cover for these kinds of losses? I haven't added other free government services and there are many. Whatever the Illegal adds will never take up for the stealing of a real citizens job, right to work, government services, etc..
HEALTH CARE - HEALTH INSURANCE: A hospital I interviewed to work in, in LA, went out of business due to having to take Illegals as patients. Today I can't afford health insurance since it has doubled and tripled from old rates since hospitals are overloaded with free illegals and free out of work citizens. I can't afford to pay for myself and others through the present system or a government system of national health care that would have the same one pays for many problem.
RECANT PLEASE: Be honest Jim. You are too smart to fall for this. Many elitist New Yorkers see the rest of the country as an animal farm that New York uses to make money off of but I always liked you because you seemed to be more high brow than this. America looses lives and money to protect you New Yorkers after the 911 attack and gives Israel free protection and income but you guys in New York won't even agree to protect the rest of the USA from Illegals, thanks a lot!
You were one of the good guys. I'm sure your attitude is just due to your being too busy with stocks to do the social research and soul searching. Still love ya Jim... I know you'll turn around, I have confidence in desire to be good but don't expect perfection from you or anyone else. I watch you every day on TIVO, keep it up.
