I was watching this the last couple of days thinking the same. Could still be a falling knife though.

Question from a still noobie (especially in terms of T.A - have printed up some things and hoping to be able to study them on flight to & from Atlanta next week - and maybe find a TOni Turner book as she's been highly recommended).
This one GNTA - appears to have gone lower today than at any time in the last 3 years - that said - how do you determine where support would be? Just wait until some develops naturally during the day via trading? This one looks interesting to me because %wise if it even gains back what is has lost today and goes up a little from there - that will be a nice % gain.
So - look for afew sideways trades, and then when it goes up a little buy in - on a "new record low" stock? Muchas Gracias (oops, still in Cancun mentally)

From my understanding you should have to wait for a reversal signal of some sort. Like a doji or spinning top that is in combination with other chart indicators signalling a reversal. But Im really new also. You should try reading these if you get a chance. The top one was suggested on here this week I think. The other one I found and is a real good basic explaination of candlestick indicators.

GNTA had already formed the daily reversal signal yesterday when it formed the Doji. Now you watch it on the 30 minute chart. Notice how the MACD(12,26,9) was really oversold then the histogram bars began to get smaller on the 30 minute chart. This was the clue that GNTA was going to start to move higher. It started to look good around .49. It is currently at .53

Wasn't quick enough. Had the limit order all set and then started going down. Got out at .67 though. That's a little over 30% for me on this one! Thanks Guru!

TCG is right about this as well. Up 22% today so far.

The chart looks really good still here. Is it still a good time to get into it at .65?

Thanks

I would not buy it here. It may go to a dollar or sell off again. I recommended it when it was attractive at .49. Buy it low and play the bounce! That was a 40% gainer in eight days! I'm just giving money away for those who want it :)

Any idea why the huge gain today though? I couldn't find news.

Agreed. Went to a conference in Monterey and missed out on TCG's suggestion. I'll capitalize on another opportunity.

Thanks,

Wow - it's really going today too - I got out in the 60s (Thanks for the Heads Up on this one Guru - and the explaination to my questions) - now it is up in the high 70's. I try not to worry about selling off early - I made what I wanted to on this one and got out - but for those of you still holding - enjoy the ride.

it will go higher, but i think there will be some consolidation tomorrow instead of the huge gains of the past two trading days.

This thing had some steady gain for the last 3 trading days or so...

I got out on Friday.

Nice one, stck8ter.

PS. Careful cause I thought there would be a selloff/profit taking day but didn't. And I'm thinking that might be from that news they released...people might be buying on that...

Ok, I'm kicking myself on this one. I sold half at .95 around 11:00 and it hovered around .92 there for a few hours so I sold the rest. Now it's at 1.07:x

yeah I was thinking of picking some up this morning during pre-market.... of course i didn't

but i was able to get in at .95 and out at 1.06

i actually think tomorrow will be another plus day as there is no resistance until the $1.40's. I will put in an afterhours order and see if it gets filled.

what do people think about the stock offering?

20 million shares raising $16 million would mean an average price of $0.80 a share.

will this flooded supply drive the price down?
