Unfortunately I sold out most of my energy positions a couple months ago when Cramer indicated he thought the run was coming to an end. Lately Cramer has been more bullish on energy. I've done a few things based on his recommendations that I wish I had not, i.e. CKR and DKS. But with EVERYTHING I hear from virtually all sources, energy is going up. That doesn't always mean the stock will but certainly HAL is best of breed.

Energy is really strong today. Good day to have gotten in during early trading hours.

I bought RIG first thing and then it went down, so I sold off quickly in case it dived further. I did that last week when it was $2.50 higher and I'm glad I got out in time. I want a lower entry point, then I'll hold.

HAL and the Shaw Group were being nailed to the wall by Dems this week for no bid contracts, but now that they realize the CEO of the Shaw Group was also a supporter of the Dem governor of LA, they are leaving that one out of their latest press releases as being suspect! LOL

Really, there aren't many companies qualified and ready to do what HAL does, if any. That is beside the point, I guess.

(Edit: There have been lots of jobs close to New Orleans, all along, energy companies located around there have been desperate for employees and RIG has ads all over the place. If someone really wanted to work, they could have.)

Wish I had more energy than my VLO. Big booboo selling PDC a couple of weeks ago at just over 15, because that price is probably history.

Welcome to the Boo Boo Club, I did the same thing! Cramer said there is going to be profit taking at the beginning of next week, though... could it be a good buying opportunity for energy?
