csx stock

Hi All,

A friend of mine told me to check out csx stock. What do all of you think about it and should a person buy or watch and wait? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and a booyah to all.

great company. sector is getting pounded so monitor all. i believe its doing a stock split soon or already has. that typically will drive it down. im a buyer on this one.

Thanks Lou for the reply. Someone else had mentioned to me earlier today to take a wait and see attitude on this stock. His info said that when a split comes that there is a chance that after the split the stock price has a good chance to go lower so a person could buy more shares with a lower than split price so more shares could be picked up for the same money. What should I look for as far as a price to get in it? Right now it is a little above 60. Once again thanks for coming back and I look forward to your reply.

I would be very interested in buying CSX, as the railroads are just kicking butt- even though the market seems to disagree.

I own union pacific, but CSX is much cheaper at this price, and may fall even more, if it does, you could buy some of this great company at a great price.

Cramer did a special segment on CSX not to long ago, pointing out that the cargo it hauls is not tied into the cyclical business cycle, and should not be treated as a cyclical, as it has been.

honestly. wait for like a week after the split. wait for a bad day in the market. like 50 pts down. then buy half your position. and then just monitor it.

I would wait for CSX to stop going down. Once it starts to go up, BUY BUY BUY!!!!!
