I stuck with gold

Market is up today but not gold and copper. My other positions partly offset my gold losses but gold really sucks these days :-)
What is going on? Why is price comming down? Is it a long time trend or just a speculation as a chance to buy gold for cheap ?

I feel your pain- had to sell the oxy i grabbed at 99.50 fri to cover my gold. I am hoping some turmoil gives the commodity a spike so i can get out, but i think a lot of other folks are doing the same. I heard some interesting speculation about how world governments are hedged against gold, so this train may jump the track real soon.
i just dont see gold getting to the 550 support.

I'd like to see Gold pull back to around 475-485ish before I jump in. I think the long term trend is up and it will hit 1,000 in 5-10 years time, but it got way overheated.

Profit taking. Sold out last week and will look to buy again when price dips lower.

Gold ETF IAU up 1.50+ this morning.

Not sure if I'm being greedy by waiting to sell tomorrow. This Gold ETF has had some predictable moves lately. Up 3-5 points (sell), down 3-5 (buy). I'm not sure if this is gonna work moving forward though...I think I've just gotten lucky.
