Does anyone have any preferances at this time? Which is the better bang oil or natural at this time. Opinions needed. Thanks

Was thinking I would buy some gw and a natrual gas company spliting the positions instead of owning just one. Any coments on this method? Also any objections to GW at this time?

GW doesn't move much and there is a lot of insider selling. Cramer mentioned PDC last night and said it had an upside in the mid $40's. I was surprised to hear a target that high, but think it might be a better land driller bet than GW, if that's where you're heading.

GW could spike when they report earnings next month, they do make money. I've heard target prices for it anywhere from $11 to $13 a share. Wouldn't buy it again, myself, but if you decide to, do not pay more than $8 a share. Wait for a pullback.

I think CHK is a good natural gas play for a variety of reasons and they also own quite a bit of stock in PDC.

Oil? Still love it, but watch your entry points carefully and, again, buy on pullbacks. 8)

Evryone is talking oil and Nat. gas, but lets not forget about coal. It's selling at historic highs and companys are litterally exploding with earnings, check out BTU/Peabody.

Also coal prices tend to run with natural gas so 98% of the time when gas is up so is coal.

To me natural gas seems to be the better play because that is all the talking heads are yakking about these days. There has a got to be a pull back in oil over the winter. But long term both seem great. I'm currently in PBR. I really dig a foreign company that has them both

That's true, coal is doing really well and I agree about the natural gas, some of the oil stocks are seeing little pullbacks here and there, not too big, though. I am wondering whether there will be one tomorrow or Tuesday like Cramer was talking about. Only time will tell. GW was under $8 in the past week on three different days, sorry if you didn't get in where you wanted, maybe it will dip again for you.
