I had the pleasure last week to be in N.J. and, of course, was busy to see Tony Soprano's bar. After a day of seeing more of N.J. than I cared for and not finding Tony S.'s place, I stopped by a Dollar General to buy a package of DG's disposible blades. A gentleman and I standing in line with me began talking. He looked familiar. We talked and ended over at the nearby Waffle House. As luck would have it, the gentleman was Mr. Cramer. He is as nice as he comes across on TV. Anyway, we discussed DG razor blades. Mr. Cramer said he had one DG blade that has lasted him for over a year. I said, "Booyah!" Well, Mr. Cramer's Blade Secret is to clean the razor after use, dry it, and then spray the blade with WD-40. Mr. Cramer said when he shaved again, the blade also greased his face. I have tried Mr. Cramer's technique and indeed it works great. Quite frankly, I wished I had remembered to ask for some free financial advice, but in a sense, I got a good way on saving on razor blades. I am experimenting using WD-40 as shaving cream. Thanks Jim.
